Local Pastors and missionaries around the world invest their lives to serve their communities.

WHO INVESTS IN THEM?

This is where we step in.

What’s the need?

Healthy people + a strong team do effective ministry. After 17+ years of ministry in 4 countries, we saw two major issues in the global Church:

  1. Dedicated leaders who worked so hard at ministry without slowing down that their own soul and their family begin to suffer. This results in burn out, failed marriages, and people left hurting in the wake.

  2. Passionate leaders unsure of the next practical steps to take to reach people or fulfill the vision of their ministry.

These people are positioned to change their communities. Empowering them unlocks the potential to change the world.

WE CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MINISTRY LEADERS AROUND THE WORLD TO BE HEALTHY and BE EFFECTIVE.

BE HEALTHY.

BE EFFECTIVE.

What’s with the name?

Our name, Juniper Table, is inspired by Elijah's restorative encounter with the Lord under a juniper tree in 1 Kings 19. In the story, an angel of the Lord came to a discouraged Elijah, feeding him and telling him to rest. This gave him the strength needed for the journey to Mount Sinai, where he encountered that ‘still, small voice’ of God. Our desire is to set the table for these “juniper moments” for those we serve.

We are a couple of passionate, belief-driven people raising two tiny human boys. Our family of four calls the tiny mountain kingdom of Eswatini in Southern Africa home—a base from which we serve leaders throughout this region. One idealist and one pragmatist, one introvert and one extrovert, we are wired differently yet balance each other in all the right ways.

Patrick first moved to Eswatini in 2005 to work with Children’s Cup International . After four years helping with HIV relief- building community centers, launching youth programs, and supporting church planting- he returned to the US. We married, and a year later moved to South Africa as interim Country Directors for Children's Cup. After helping that team through a transition, we sensed a nudge.

This journey led us north to Moshi, Tanzania, a small town nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. There, we came alongside missionaries to support their community projects. Little did we know God was using that place to build something else new.

We discovered that serving God means is best done operating in the unique gifting He has given each of us. For us, this looks like creating space for leaders to refresh, think strategically, and grow. We walk alongside ministries, lifting the arms of those spreading hope in their corner of the world.

We have committed our lives to embracing the adventure of serving God, wherever He leads as long as we are here.
